Life Insurance

Life insurance is a type of insurance that pays a lump sum benefit to the beneficiary of the policy in the event of the life insured’s death.

Disability insurance

Disability insurance pays out a monthly benefit to an individual that is injured or sick when they can’t perform the duties of their occupation.

Annuities

Annuities are basically guaranteed income for life. Based on the amount you purchase, your age, your gender and some other variables a guaranteed monthly or yearly amount is paid out to you.

Critical illness

Critical illness insurance is an insurance that covers an individual for up to 25 illnesses. Upon diagnosis of one of the illnesses covered the insured will receive a lump sum of cash based on the face amount of the policy.

About Me

I have been in the Insurance /Financial sector for over 20 years. I began in 2000 as an independent advisor. As an independent advisor I learned a lot about how to effectively manage my time. I spent 9 years helping protect people, their families and businesses. In 2009 an opportunity arose to work for a financial institution and I took it. The experience I gained in the 12 years there was excellent. I dealt with hundreds of clients in all different stages of their lives.

Now, I find myself wanting to be my own boss again and have made the change to being an independent broker again. I am looking forward to the opportunity to help individuals and business owners protect the most important things in their lives.

The Protection Process

initial meeting

This is where I get to know a client. I conduct an insurance needs analysis to determine the amount and type of insurance best for them.

getting quotes

This is where I go to the market and see which company is the best fit for the client. Once I have done that I send them the quotes to review.

application process

Once the client has decided on the insurance we fill out the application. This can be done in person or telephone/online.

approval process

Once the application is completed it goes to the underwriter at the insurance company for approval. I am updated as the process goes on and keep the client informed as to the status of the application. Upon approval I send the policy to the client and they are then insured and protected.

My clients are always my first priority. I will do everything in my power to ensure that you’re properly protected and, in the event of a claim, you get the help that gets life back on track for you and the people you love.
